Castel Sant’Angelo

At the start of the Vatican level, hug the right wall to avoid being spotted by the guard. Climb up to the roof opposite and use your whip to pull yourself up onto the rampart. Once on top, use the bottles to attract the attention of the guards further up, then enter through the building’s open window. Inside, take the stairs down.

Go down further and pick up a map. Go outside and use the scaffolding with your whip to pull yourself up. Continue moving upwards to reach a white door.

To get inside, head down the alley until you find a guard room. Knock out the guard and grab the door key . Inside, climb the ladder and go through the door to reach a rampart.

Progress to climb up a new scaffolding. Enter through the window of the tower located above, then exit through another window. Take the stairs on the right to reach the captain’s quarters and pick up a key against the wall.

Use the key to open the gate at the bottom, go up the stairs, then use a rope to go down. Go down the stairs nearby and bypass the guards to reach a door at the bottom. Fight the guard on the rampart to complete the level.

Vatican City

Follow Antonio to trigger cutscenes and get a new objective. Go down into the bookstore to go through a door and find an inscription against the wall. Use the pendant to bring Antonio. Pick up a candle on the desk to go down a staircase . Underground, then go down into a pool to go to the other side of the cell.

Use the whip on the lever above to summon Antonio. Then pick up the map on the desk to continue and get a key from Antonio. Follow the objective marked on your map to reach the outer courtyard.

Where to find the post office?

Follow the objective on your map to find some scaffolding to the north to climb up. Head down the alley on the other side to enter the open window of the building. Use the key to open the door inside and find Enersto. Use your money to retrieve the camera and get some photo locations on your map. If you don’t have the money, do some side missions where you search the guards’ tents.

Registrations

For the next objective, follow the locations on your map to use your camera on the inscriptions of different coats of arms . You can use your map to find the exact location of the coats of arms. Align your view with the mark on the photo frame to get a good photo.

Then return to Antonio to highlight the four inscriptions and study them. Perform the on-screen QTEs to progress.

Nicholas V Tower

Follow the objective marker to reach the Nicholas V Tower . Watch out for the captain on the streets so you don’t get recognized. Inside, use your map to locate an altar, then empty a little of the wine bottle on it. Then interact with the relief to position the angel above and the demon below . Go down the stairs, being careful of the trap hole, to reach the lower level.

The enigma of sacred wounds (Jesus Puzzle)

At the bottom, you will be faced with a new puzzle. You will have to assign a number to each body part depicted in the painting in order to succeed. The different body parts are nearby, and you can reveal their numbers using the wine bottle. Here are the corresponding numbers: the body is 3, the right hand is 2, the left hand is 2, the left foot is 3, and the right foot is 4.

The Catacombs

Head into the hallways to retrieve a burial key from a body. Then use your whip to progress and unlock a gate with the key to access a tomb. Examine the two switches located on either side of the stairs above the tomb to trigger a cutscene. Then descend into a chasm where you will face enemies.

Go behind the guards to reach a new area. Move discreetly down the corridor on the right to reach the higher ground . Knock out the guards if necessary to clear your path and arrive at a dead end. Pick up a statue on the ground and place it on an altar near a gate.

Go through a grate and use your whip to climb up, then enter a gap . Continue forward and activate a lever to find an exit.

Climb up to the heights on the right to reach the wagon stealthily, then use your whip to climb up a scaffold and exit. Then follow the objective marker by donning the clergy costume to meet Gina. Then return to Antonio to get a new objective.

The Enigma of the Fountain Dragons

Follow the objective marker to reach the fountain and solve another puzzle. Examine the chest to the left of the scaffolding to retrieve the fountain gate key. Climb up to the heights of the fountain to examine the tower to the left. You will find a piece of one of the dragons on the scaffolding , which will trigger a cutscene. Then climb back up to place the dragon’s claw so that they face each other. Then go down to shoot the fountain’s dragon ring with your whip.

The Fountain of Confession Puzzle

Activate the lever at the bottom of the fountain to reveal a first puzzle. Use your whip to make water flow into the bucket by pulling the ring at the top right, then move the left statue closer to perform a baptism by moving the right statue.

Activate the lever again to reveal a new puzzle. Using the rings and the three stones on the relief, trace the path to tip the boat to the other side . Once the puzzle is solved, move the statue to the center of the altar to create a staircase.

The undergrounds of the fountain

Underground, use the lever to trigger a mechanism . Progress until you fall into a trap, then climb up using the obstacles to get back up. Up high, avoid the traps to get to the other side .

Further on, climb up to open the passage to two dragons: a gold dragon and a silver dragon. For the path to the gold dragon, go into the gold corridor and pull a chain. Inside, move the columns onto the light grids below to succeed . Go to the back to go behind it and enter the corridor on the left, pull a new chain and move the columns. To reach the corridor on the right, use your whip to jump onto a column and fall back into the corridor. Pull the chains to move the remaining columns onto the lights. Finally, pull the main lever near the statues to complete the challenge.

Craft the Golden Key and proceed to the Silver Dragon Corridor. Examine the left wing next to Gina to find a Tablet . Place the Tablet on the altar in the center of the room to trigger a mechanism. Use your whip to explore the back of the room and find a second Tablet . Give the Tablet to Gina through the bars, then go to the other side via the column to retrieve it and place it on a new altar. Join Gina to craft the Golden Key and enter the chapel.

Climb to the upper level to have Gina pick a lock. Interact with the highlighted books to advance the story. Then follow Gina to find the cat mummy on a shelf. A fight will then start.

Fight against the Giant

In the fight against the giant, defense is paramount. When the giant is about to grab you by placing his arms back, use the dodge key to avoid him. When his arms are in front, it means he is about to strike; use the protection key with the right timing to stop his blow. Then chain the giant with attacks from the right and left to weaken him. Continue this dance to finish the fight.

Fleeing the Vatican

Follow Gina and follow the on-screen commands to reach the exterior of the Vatican Heights. Climb the platforms to reach the tower and sneak into the airship to complete the Vatican mission.
